The Internet is a global network of computers, which are communicating by using the same communication protocol. But in order to connect efficiently the information and not just computers, another layer was needed. This is the web: WHILE THE INTERNET CONNECTS PARTICIPANTS, THE WEB CONNECTS INFORMATION. The creator of the world wide web is Sir Tim Berners Lee (TimBL).
