This optimistic and profoundly moving documentary invites us to follow the journey of the unique relationships that develop between the 'imperfect' farm animals rejected from the food industry rehabilitated at Freedom Farm Sanctuary in Israel, and their "imperfect" human volunteers marginalized by society, who deeply relate to them, and go above and beyond to care for them.
With sensitivity, humor, and love, this documentary reminds us of the real meaning of the word compassion, and shows us where the path to healing ourselves and the world begins.
Each chapter in the series documents the story of a different volunteer and animal, and follows their journey of getting to know one another and building trust.
